The white grape variety originates from France. Synonyms are Barake, Baroca, Baroke, Barroque, Barroque Blanc, Bordalès, Bordelais Blanc, Boudalès, Folle, Muscadelle de Nantes, Petit Bordelais, Plant Bordelais and Sable Blanc (France), Bordeleza Zuria (Spain).
