Barbarossa di Finalborgo

The white grape variety originates from Italy. Synonyms are Barba Rossa, Barbarossa, Barbarossa a Feuilles Cotonneuses, Barbarossa a Foglie Cotonose, Barbarossa del Piemonte, Barbarossa di Finale, Barbarossa di Liguria, Barbarossa Ovale, Barbarossa Verdona, Brizzola, Rossera and Verduna. It must not be confused with the variety Barbarossa di Piemonte with partly identical syonyms. The parentage of the red-berried vine is unknown. Nothing is known about possible relations to one of the many Barbarossa varieties. The variety is suitable as a winepress and table grape. No stocks were reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).
