Bandkräftn

Reed or location (also band forces, Pandkräftn or also Baumgarten) in the Burgenland municipality of Rust (Austria). The vineyards, facing southeast, consist of loamy sandy or loess soils on primary rocks interspersed with lime. The main white wine varieties grown here are Chardonnay, Neuburger, Welschriesling andPinot Blanc as well as the Burgenland's leading variety Blaufränkisch cultivated. Shares in the vineyard are, for example, held by the Bachkönig, Bayer Heribert, Giefing Erich, Hammer Markus, Hillinger, Kraft Harald, Schröck Heidi, Triebaumer Ernst, Triebaumer Günter and Wenzel Robert.
