Bakator Kék

The red grape variety comes from Hungary. Synonyms are Bakar Fekete, Bakar Kék, Fekete Bakator and Kék Bakator. The parentage (parenthood is unknown. Nothing is known about possible relations to the varieties Bakator Belyi or Bakator Roz either. It is an all-female grape variety. The variety is cultivated in Hungary mainly in the Badacsony area. In 2016, 2 hectares of vineyard area were designated here (statistics Kym Anderson).
