Important winegrowing community in the German Nahe wine region in Rhineland-Palatinate with the four parts Bosenheim, Ippesheim, Planig and Winzenheim. It is also known for its spa facilities and the Seitzwerke (filter technology). The vineyards in Bad Kreuznach and to the north of it belonged to the Bad Kreuznach area until 1993, the rest formed the second area of Schloßböckelheim. Since then, both have been combined to form the single Nahe Valley area. Bad Kreuznach belongs to the Kronenberg area. Well-known individual sites are Brückes, Forst, Galgenberg, Gutental, Hinkelstein, Hofgarten, Höllenbrand, Hungriger Wolf, Kahlenberg, Kapellenpfad, Kauzenberg, Krötenpfuhl, Mollenbrunnen, Mönchberg, Narrenkappe, Osterhöll, Rosenberg, Steinberg, St. Martin, Tilgesbrunnen and Vogelsang. Well known wineries are Anheuser Paul, Emrich-Montigny, Finkenauer Anton, Forster Georg, Korrell Johanneshof, Reichsgraf von Plettenberg and Staatsweingut Bad Kreuznach.
