Bad Kreuznach

Important wine-growing community in the German wine-growing region of Nahe in Rhineland-Palatinate with the four parts Bosenheim, Ippesheim, Planig and Winzenheim. It is also known for its spa facilities and the Seitzwerke (filter technology). The vineyards in Bad Kreuznach and north of it belonged to the Bad Kreuznach area until 1993, the rest formed the second area of Schloßböckelheim. Since then, the two have been combined to form the single Nahetal area. Bad Kreuznach belongs to Großlage Kronenberg. Well-known individual vineyards are Brückes, Forst, Galgenberg, Gutental, Hinkelstein, Hofgarten, Höllenbrand, Hungriger Wolf, Kahlenberg, Kapellenpfad, Kauzenberg, Krötenpfuhl, Mollenbrunnen, Mönchberg, Narrenkappe, Osterhöll, Rosenberg, Steinberg, St. Martin, Tilgesbrunnen and Vogelsang. Well-known wineries are Anheuser Paul, Emrich-Montigny, Finkenauer Anton, Forster Georg, Korrell Johanneshof, Reichsgraf von Plettenberg and Staatsweingut Bad Kreuznach.
