Important wine-growing community in the German wine-growing region of Nahe in Rhineland-Palatinate with the four parts Bosenheim, Ippesheim, Planig and Winzenheim. It is also known for its spa facilities and the Seitzwerke (filter technology). The vineyards in Bad Kreuznach and north of it belonged to the Bad Kreuznach area until 1993, the rest formed the second area of Schloßböckelheim. Since then, the two have been combined to form the single Nahetal area. Bad Kreuznach belongs to Großlage Kronenberg. Well-known individual vineyards are Brückes, Forst, Galgenberg, Gutental, Hinkelstein, Hofgarten, Höllenbrand, Hungriger Wolf, Kahlenberg, Kapellenpfad, Kauzenberg, Krötenpfuhl, Mollenbrunnen, Mönchberg, Narrenkappe, Osterhöll, Rosenberg, Steinberg, St. Martin, Tilgesbrunnen and Vogelsang. For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
