Austrian dry

A colloquial name used in Austria for a particularly dry wine with a residual sugar content of up to 4 g/l. However, this has no meaning in wine law and according to Austrian wine law may only be used in the form "dry" on the label. A similar meaning has Franconian dry in Franconia (Germany).
