Association Viticole d'Ollon

The winegrowers' cooperative in the municipality of Ollon in the Swiss canton of Vaud was founded in 1906. Its 145 members cultivate a total of 48 hectares of vineyards, 80% of which are planted with white grape varieties and 20% with red varieties. The house's best-known product is the white wine "Le Caviste" (Chasselas), whose label, unchanged since 1925, adorns a cellar master with raised glass. Other premium wines are "Faveur des Muses" (selection of the best Chasselas vines), the red wine cuvées "Millepierre" (Pinot Noir and Gamay) and "Rubis Noir" (Pinot Noir, Gamaret, Garanoir and Cabernet Sauvignon), as well as the white wine cuvée "Blanc Fumé" (Pinot Gris, Silvaner and Chasselas) and the sweet wine "Sylvaner passerillé" (made from dried Silvaner grapes).

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
