Frequently used name or name component (also Asproudes, Asproudi, Asprudi) for many grape varieties in Greece. It is used for white varieties when the origin or identity is not clear. These are, for example, Asprouda Ariloghi, Asprouda Halkidos, Asprouda Mykinon, Asprouda Mikynon, Asprouda Serron, Asprouda Santorini and Asprouda Zakintho, whereby the second part of the name is usually not indicated by the producers, but refers to the place where it was found.
