Aspiran Gris

The white grape variety originates from France. Synonyms are Aspiran Grigio, Aspiran Violet, Aspirant, Cumberland Lodge, Esperione, Espiran, Hardy Blue Windsor, Piran Gris, Red Port, Ribeyrenc, Ribeyrenc Gris, Rivairen, Rivairenc Gris, Riveyrenc, Spiran, Spiran Gris, Verdal and Verdal Gris. It is a colour mutation with purple berries of the red variety Aspiran Noir. The variety is used as a winepress and table grape. No stock was recorded in 2016 (Kym Anderson).
