The winery "Arnaldo Caprai Società Agricola" is located in the municipality of Località Torre di Montefalco (Perugia) in the Italian region of Umbria. It was founded in 1971 by Arnaldo Caprai, who still runs the farm today. The responsible oenologist is Attilio Pagli. In 2003, a cellar and an enoteca built according to the most modern standards were put into operation. The vineyards cover 136 hectares. They are planted with the red wine varieties Sagrantino (leading variety), Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Canaiolo Nero and Pinot Nero, and with the white wine varieties Grechetto di Orvieto, Trebbiano Spoletino, Trebbiano Toscano and Fiano.

It is managed according to the principle of sustainable production in accordance with the locally established criteria of the protocol "Montefalco 2015: the New Green Revolution". A project was launched in 1988 with the University of Milan to fully exploit the potential of the indigenous Sagrantino grape variety. The wide range of products includes DOC Montefalco and Colli Martani, DOCG Montefalco Sagrantino, and various IGT wines. The flagship of the house is the "25 Anni Montefalco Sagrantino", aged for 24 months in new barriques. Other premium wines are the IGT white wine "Cuvée Secrète Umbria Bianco" (6 months in barrique) and "Montefalco Rosso Riserva" (20 months in barrique). Every year 750,000 bottles of wine are produced, of which about a third are exported to 40 countries worldwide. The winery is a member of Consorzio Tutela Vini Montefalco, Strada del Sagrantino and Grandi Cru di Montefalco.
