Ardonnet

The red grape variety comes from France. Synonyms are Achéria Moyeta, Ardonenc, Ardonnenc, Ardounet and Gros Verdau. It should not be confused with the Cabernet Franc (Achéria) variety, despite the fact that it appears to have synonyms or morphological similarities. Its origin (parentage) is unknown. It is a parent of the Claverie Coulard variety. It is an all-female variety. In 2016, no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson).
