The red grape variety is a new variety between Cabernet Sauvignon x Băbească Neagră. It was crossed in Romania in 1985 by the private breeders D. Danulescu, E. Negulescu, G. Sandu-Ville and P. Virna. It is used as a wine grape. In 2016 a vineyard area of just under one hectare was designated (Kym Anderson).
For my many years of work as an editor with a wine and culinary focus, I always like to inform myself about special questions at Wine lexicon. Spontaneous reading and following links often leads to exciting discoveries in the wide world of wine.
