DOC area for red wine, rosé wine and white wine in the Italian region of Sardinia. The zone includes the 50 municipalities of Albagiara, Ales, Arborea, Assolo, Asuni, Baradili, Baratili San Pietro, Baressa, Bauladu, Cabras, Gonnoscodina, Gonnosnò, Gonnostramatza, Marrubiu, Masullas, Mogorella, Mogoro, Morgongiori, Milis, Narbolia, Nurachi, Nureci, Ollastra, Oristano, Palmas Arborea, Pau, Pompu, Riola Sardo, Ruinas, San Nicolò Arcidano, San Vero Milis, Santa Giusta, Senis, Siamaggiore, Siamanna, Siapiccia, Simala, Simaxis, Sini, Siris, Solarussa, Terralba, Tramatza, Uras, Usellus, Villa Sant'Antonio, Villa Verde, Villaurbana, Zeddiani and Zerfaliu in the province of Oristano.

The Sangiovese (also as Rosato) must contain at least 85% of this variety. The Trebbiano (also as Frizzante) is made from Trebbiano Romagnolo and/or Trebbiano Toscano (zum. 85%).
