The winery "Azienda Agricola Antonelli San Marco" is located in the municipality of Montefalco, in the centre of the DOC area of the same name in the Italian region of Umbria. It was founded in 1881 by Francesco Antonelli. The estate extends at 430 metres above sea level over two hills that once formed the "San Marco de Corticellis" estate. It is managed by Dr. Filippo Antonelli. The vineyards, facing south and west, cover 40 hectares of vineyards on deep, very calcareous clay soils. The red wine grapes Sagrantino, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated, as well as the white wine varieties Grechetto Bianco and Trebbiano Spoletino. Since the 2011 vintage, the vineyards have been under certified organic cultivation. The product range includes the DOC wines Montefalco and Colli Martani, as well as the DOCG wine Montefalco Sagrantino. Around 300,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. Grappa (marc spirit) and olive oil are also produced. The winery is a member of the IMC (Istituto Mediterraneo di Certificazione). The family also owns the Castello di Torre vineyard in Pietra, north of Rome in the Lazio region.
