Single location in the municipality of Boppard in the German Mittelrhein
wine growing region. It is a part of the vineyard Bopparder Hamm
, which is also a district of the same name of Boppard. The site forms the eastern end of this vineyard and is situated about 180 metres from the Rhine. The southwest to southeast facing vineyards at an altitude of 80 to 160 metres above sea level cover around three hectares on clay slate weathered soil with a reddish tinge of iron. With a gradient of 50 to 65% (33°), the site is one of the steepest vineyards

"In der Zech" and "Am Weißen Wacke" are classified as cadastral sites
. Mainly Riesling is cultivated here. The Müller Matthias
and Weingart Florian
wineries, for example, have a share in the site.
