The winery is located in the municipality of Lachen-Speyerdorf, a district of Neustadt an der Weinstraße (area Südliche Weinstraße) in the German wine-growing region Pfalz. In 1995, the winery started its own vinification and bottling. Today, the winery is run by Jürgen and Armin Andres. The vineyards cover 22 hectares. They are planted with the white wine varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Chardonnay, Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat and Gewürztraminer, as well as with the red wine varieties Blauer Portugieser, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Schwarzriesling, Regent and Acolon. The vineyards are cultivated according to natural, environmentally friendly criteria. This includes exclusively fertilizing with organic substances, reducing chemical plant protection to a minimum, cover crop with various herbs and grasses, as well as strengthening the vines against diseases by means of plant extracts. The vinification follows the principle of "omission", which means that there is hardly any intervention in the cellar. The musts are always fermented spontaneously.
