Andre / Andran

The white grape variety (also Andran) originates from Piedmont in Italy. The late-maturing, grey-berried vine has tart-tasting berries and is used as table grape. It should not be confused with the Czech new variety André. No stock was reported in 2016 (Kym Anderson statistics).

Serious sources on the internet are rare - and Wine lexicon from wein.plus is one such source. When researching for my articles, I regularly consult the wein.plus encyclopaedia. There I get reliable and detailed information.
