Vintage

Spanish term for vintage year. The label may indicate how many years after the harvest the wine was bottled. For example, "3 año" means that the wine was bottled in the third calendar year after the harvest. For example, for a 2015 vintage, this means that it was done in 2017.

Pure vintage sherry

A system rarely used today in the production of sherry. In contrast to the traditional solera system, the wine remains pure (unblended).
