The agricultural cooperative is located in Amynteo in the east of the prefecture of Florina in the Greek region of Macedonia. It was founded in 1945, the winery in 1959. About 300 members cultivate 250 hectares of vineyards. These have made a decisive contribution to the production and distribution of rosé sparkling wines from the Xynomavro grape variety. In addition, the Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer and Roditis varieties are also processed. In 2008 an extensive total renovation and modernisation was completed. The product range includes red, rosé and white wines and sparkling wines POP Amynteo (quality wines) and Topikos Oinos (country wines). 1.5 million bottles of wine are produced annually.
