Aminia

The red grape variety (also Rogers 39) is an interspecific new variety between Carter x Black Hamburg(Muscat d'Hamburg). It contains genes from Vitis labrusca and Vitis vinifera. The hybrid was crossed in 1885 in Salem/Massachusetts by the private breeder E. S. Rogers. It is used in the USA as a wine grape. In 2016 no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson).
