The white grape variety is an interspecific new cross between ((Vitis amurensis x Vitis vinifera) x (Vitis amurensis x Vitis vinifera)) x Chardonnay. The hybrid was crossed in Hungary by the two breeders István Tamassy and István Koleda. In Austria (Burgenland), it has been one of the varieties for the local speciality Uhudler since 2016. In 2016, no stock was reported (statistics Kym Anderson).
The glossary is a monumental achievement and one of the most important contributions to wine knowledge. Of all the encyclopaedias I use on the subject of wine, it is by far the most important. That was the case ten years ago and it hasn't changed since.
