This Spanish red wine from the DO region of La Mancha is made by fermenting red (Tempranillo, here Cencibel) and white (Airén) grapes together. The dark red, dry wine is low in acidity and tannins and has a high alcohol content of 13 to 15% by volume. It is particularly popular in Madrid as a fortified wine.
