Almond Ring

Single vineyard site in the municipality of Haardt (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstrasse area) in the German Palatinate wine growing region. The south- to south-east-facing vineyards with a slope inclination of 5 to 20% comprise 36 hectares of vineyard area. The predominantly loamy sandy soils are interspersed with marly clay. The varieties cultivated here include Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Scheurebe and St. Laurent. The Kaub Karl-Heinz, Müller-Catoir and Weegmüller wineries, for example, have their share of the site.
