Almafre

The white grape variety (also Amalfra) originates from Portugal. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2020, it comes from a presumably natural cross between Síria x Malvasia Fina. It is cultivated in small quantities in the Centro region. In 2016, the area under cultivation is 0.1 hectares (Kym Anderson statistics).
