Allowed daily dose

The "permitted daily intake" (ETD) refers to the dose of a substance such as pesticides, medicines or agents used in winemaking, such as sulphur, and alcohol, which, if taken daily for a lifetime, is considered medically safe. See ADI (Acceptable Daily Intake).
