alcoholic

Description for a wine that is particularly rich in alcohol in the context of a wine evaluation or wine address. Depending on the expression, this can be both positive, but according to the context also already negative. If less pronounced, the "presence of alcohol" is described as vinous. Related terms that also have positive connotations are warm, powerful, heavy and bulky. A related term is hot. The spectrum can range from intrusive to negative aggressive. A particularly strong and then negative expression is described as brandy (alcoholic, boozy).
