DOC area for red and rosé wines in the Italian region of Piedmont. The zone covers 18 hectares of vineyards in the municipalities of Albugnano, Castelnuovo Don Bosco, Passerano Marmorito and Pino d'Asti in the province of Asti. The wine types Rosso (with at least 1 year of ageing, 6 months of which in barrel also as Superiore) and Rosato are made from the Nebbiolo variety (at least 85%), as well as Barbera and/or Bonarda = Croatina and/or Freisa (max. 15%).
