Alba Imputotato

The white grape variety comes from Romania. Synonyms are Bisetta, Impuntotato Alba and Imputotato Alba. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is probably a natural cross between Sárfehér x Hamvas. However, this is based on only 19 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). It is an all-female grape variety. From presumably natural crosses with different partners, the varieties Beala Debela, Frâncușă, Furmint, Javor Groß, Papazkarasi, Weißer Augster and Žilavka were created. In 2016, no stocks were reported (Kym Anderson).

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
