The white grape variety comes from Romania. Synonyms are Bisetta, Impuntotato Alba and Imputotato Alba. According to DNA analyses carried out in 2013, it is probably a natural cross between Sárfehér x Hamvas. However, this is based on only 19 DNA markers (see molecular genetics). It is an all-female grape variety. From presumably natural crosses with Gouais Blanc the three varieties Frâncușă, Furmint and Javor Groß, with Prokupac the two varieties Beala Debela and Papazkarasi, and with Lisztes Fehér the variety Weißer Augster have been developed. No stocks were reported in 2010 (Kym Anderson).
