Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil

Three research institutes of the Swiss Federal Office for Agriculture are combined or managed under the name "Agroscope". Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil (ACW)" as one of the three is responsible for research in the areas of arable and fodder crops, fruit, vine, vegetable and ornamental plant cultivation as well as berries, medicinal and spice plants. It also carries out tasks in the area of enforcement and control of agricultural means of production such as spray agents and plant variety protection. The Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil is located in Changins and Wädenswil, the two towns that gave the institute its name.
