Agroscope

Agroscope is the federal agricultural research organisation in Switzerland and reports to the Federal Office for Agriculture. Its task is to provide scientific support for agriculture and the upstream and downstream areas of food production through research, development, advice and knowledge transfer.

Wädenswil and Changins Research Centres

The institution emerged from several federal agricultural research institutes that were established in the course of the 20th century. These include the research centres in Wädenswil in the canton of Zurich for fruit growing, viticulture and horticulture and in Changins in the canton of Vaud for plant cultivation and viticulture.
