The winery is located in the municipality of Konz-Oberemmel (Saar area) in the German Moselle wine-growing region. It is owned by Alfred Kirchen. The vineyards cover 8.5 hectares of vines in the single vineyard sites Altenberg, Karlsberg and Rosenberg (Oberemmel) in a wind-protected side valley on the lower course of the Saar. They are planted with the white wine varieties Riesling (85%), Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. Natural, environmentally friendly viticulture is practised.
Great attention is paid to wines that are characterised by natural aromas and reflect the terroir of the vineyard. A slow, gentle spontaneous fermentation lasting up to 12 months is carried out with the vineyard's own natural yeasts. In years with suitable weather conditions, an ice wine is also produced. Bottle-fermented sparkling wines are also produced, as well as fine brandies (yeast brandy, marc, fruit) and liqueurs in the in-house distillery.

If I were to rate websites, you would deserve the highest rating. It is rare to come across websites that provide such a large amount of data and are still so intuitive to use. Respect for the lovingly researched and informatively prepared encyclopedia. Keep it up!
