Aftertaste

In principle, a value-free designation for the taste of a wine after swallowing. In contrast to the positive term "finish", however, this is often used in the context of a wine evaluation (grading) or wine address (description) for an unpleasant and negative impression. This then describes a wine mistake in context, if necessary. In Austria there is also the term "Nachschmecker" for this.
