The J. J. Adeneuer winery is located in the municipality of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the German wine-growing region of Ahr. The traditional house has been in the family for over 500 years. In 1984, the brothers Frank and Marc Adeneuer took over the business from their aunt. The vineyards cover 12.5 hectares in the communities of Ahrweiler, Heimersheim, Neuenahr and Walporzheim. Until recently, only red wines were vinified, but now the portfolio also includes white wines. They cultivate 85% Pinot Noir, 10% Frühburgunder and 5% Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc). The vineyards are cultivated according to the rules of integrated pest management, with complete avoidance of insecticides and very little use of herbicides. Instead, the pheromone confusion method is used against animal pests and the weeds are controlled mechanically (understock brush, coulter).

There is a vast number of sources on the web where one can acquire knowledge about wine. But none has the scope, timeliness and accuracy of the information in the encyclopaedia at wein.plus. I use it regularly and rely on it.
