The winery is located in the municipality of Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee (Austria). Viticulture has been practised by the family for several generations. The traditional winery has been run by Paul and Elfriede Achs since 1991. The vineyards cover 25 hectares of vineyards in over 40 parcels in the Altenberg, Edelgrund, Gabarinza, Goldberg, Heideboden, Langer Acker, Schafleiten, Spiegel and Ungerberg vineyards. They are 90% planted with the red wine varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Blauburgunder, Merlot and Syrah, the rest with the white wine varieties Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Organic viticulture is practised consistently.
